Tracking Thorchain Transactions

Terminology

• Thorchain is a decentralized liquidity protocol that enables the seamless exchange of assets across different blockchains.
• ShapeShift is an application built on top of the Thorchain protocol, providing a user-friendly interface for swapping cryptocurrencies. Here’s a detailed guide on how to track your ShapeShift transactions using Thorchain.

Finding the Transaction Hash/ID

There are several ways to locate the Transaction Hash/ID of your Thorchain action:

Using Transaction History:

• Click the Transaction History button in ShapeShift.
• Choose View Details to find your transaction details.

Using RuneScan:

• Go to RuneScan.io.
• Search for your wallet address (either source or destination address).
• Look for your swap transaction. Once found, click on it to reveal an icon to copy the Transaction Hash/ID.

Notes:

Waiting for Confirmations:

• If you still can’t find your transaction, Thorchain might be waiting for inbound confirmations. Patience is key here.

Tracking the Transaction

Once you have the Transaction Hash/ID, follow these steps:

Visit the 9R Thorchain Tracker:

• Go to the 9R Thorchain Tracker.

Enter the Transaction Hash/ID:

• Input your Transaction Hash/ID into the Swap Transaction ID search box at the top of the page.

Review Transaction Details:

• If your transaction is found, details about it will be displayed.
• Depending on the queue your transaction is in, an ETA may or may not be available. For further details, refer to Thorchain queues.

Troubleshooting
