Opening Debug Logs on KeepKey Desktop

There may be a time where KeepKey Desktop is not acting as it should. You may be asked by support to provide a screenshot of Error Logs.

KeepKey desktop is an electron application. Electron has a settings toolbar that renders toolbars differently depending on your operating system.

Hotkeys

On Windows

In the bottom right corner, there is an icon:

MacOS/Linux

When you select KeepKey Desktop into context, it will highlight options in your top bar. This will give you electron options.

To toggle developer tools, select “Toggle Developer Tools”:

The developer tools will allow access to system logs.
